Little update Nov 17 2024

 A New Chapter for Zipolita

Hello, beautiful souls! 💖

It’s been a while—more than a decade, actually—since I last wrote here, and so much has happened. Looking back at my 2011 post, I’m reminded of how excited and grateful I felt when I branded myself as *Zipolita*. It was such a defining moment for me as an artist, giving me clarity and confidence in my creative journey. That name, logo, and vision board represented a fresh start, and I’m happy to say that the foundation I built then has continued to inspire and guide me.

But let’s catch up, shall we? Here's a little glimpse into what's unfolded since:

Creative Adventures

- I’ve worked on several amazing projects, from writing books to exploring visual storytelling through photography, videos, and even animations. If you’re curious, you can still find traces of my journey on my other blogs and platforms.

- Recently, I’ve been focusing on pairing meditation scripts with my photography and videos, creating serene and calming content. This project is dear to my heart, as it’s a way to spread peace and resilience to others. 🌿

Expanding Horizons

- My blogging evolved over time as I shared travel stories, activism insights, and reflections on issues close to my heart. From environmental and social justice to local advocacy, I’ve been pouring my energy into making a difference.

- I’ve even started writing books! They dive into topics like processed foods, censorship, social assistance policies, and ethics. It’s been an intense yet rewarding journey of research and storytelling. 📚

Challenges and Growth

Like many of us, I’ve faced challenges along the way—whether navigating personal setbacks or societal shifts—but these experiences have deepened my understanding and passion for the work I do. They’ve also reminded me of the importance of gratitude, which has always been at the heart of my creative and personal growth.

Looking Ahead

So, what’s next?

This blog has always been a space for creativity and connection, and I’d love to rekindle that spark here. I plan to share updates on my projects, revisit some old dreams, and continue focusing on positive, uplifting content. I might also reflect on some of the lessons I’ve learned over the years, so stay tuned for that!

As I re-open this chapter, I want to thank all of you who have followed my journey. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just stumbled across this post, I’m grateful for your presence.

Here’s to dreaming big and making those dreams a reality!

With love, light, and endless creativity,

Tina Winterlik aka Zipolita

🌟 Many Blessings, Prayers & Positive Energy to you all! 🌟

Well the New Year is almost upon us. It's been an amazing year and you can read more about it on my other blogs but for now I just wanted to mention how grateful I am for everything that happened this year.

Something I am truly grateful for is that I finally branded myself Zipolita. While this may not seem important to you, for me as an artist with many talents I felt I had a difficult time simply telling people what I did.  I was all over the place. I planned it for a long time but making it a reality was so rewarding.

Everything changed when I created the name Zipolita and all the matching logos, headers, backgrounds.

Everything became clear, clean and concise.

It made me feel calm and collected. It's what I needed. With that so many things fell into place and I am truly grateful for that.

I hope to blog a bit more here. I know it's really random and I apologize. I am just so busy with so many other things, as you can see in my other blogs I can not promise anything.

I am going to keep going with my vision board though, so maybe one of the things I can promise is to focus on my vision board to make all my dreams reality. So stay tuned.

I did list my dreamz on Zipolita'z and Angelita'z Adventurez in Mexico blog so you can see them but I will break them down here more.

Until I do,
We wish you a year full of peace, great health, creativity, happiness, enlightenment & miracles.

So have been wondering what should I post on my Zipolita blog, now that I have re-branded myself and it just came to me. I will make this my VISION BOARD!

I remember watching "The Secret" and I made this cool Vision Journal. Many of those hopes and  aspirations have come true. So they say if you want to make it happen, you have to say so.

So here is dreaming praying and projecting. I am going to get a Cob House like one of these!

this is a great video explanation but I can't embed it.

Cob (material)

'Cob stich' Excavated by Kevin McCabe, repair on old traditional cob cottage in Halberton, Devon, UK[1]
Cob, cobb or clom (in Wales) is a building material consisting of clay, sand, straw, water, and earth, similar to adobe. Cob is fireproof, resistant to seismic activity,[2] and inexpensive. It can be used to create artistic, sculptural forms and has been revived in recent years by the natural building and sustainability movements. Read More Here

Note: Nov 9/2012 Just to update this. I did create a logo and you can read more about my branding updates here. Gracias!
http://zipolitazwebdezign.blogspot.mx/2012/10/zipolita-branding-background-headers.html

The last two days I worked so hard but it's all come together now. I rebranded and updated all my blogs and created new headers and backgrounds for all my social media accounts,  so now they all have a similar theme. Watch the blue flower...it's sort of my logo, but that's next...I'll figure one out one of these days. I added links to all my blogs on the right so have a peak when you have a chance. Take care

Update From Zipolite by Zipolita

Funny was just looking at the stats and one of my blogposts that was recently view was the one about "Suddenly I'm .ca"  well now that I'm in Mexico all my blogs are .mx. so that's interesting. I had to go in and change my links on my signature and stuff  but the original links still work it just re-directs you.

Been super busy. Last night stayed up til 5am because I want to post some videos I had made for Gloria of Shambhala. Gloria's home was severely damaged by Hurricane Carlota as well as Shambhala and Bohemia but they have been working hard and it's looking really good. Here's one video, check the links for the others.

I also rebranded and re-named a few of my blogs, poco un poco, little by little I am rebranding everything to be Zipolita.

http://zipolitazwebdezign.blogspot.mx/
http://zipolitazpaintingz.blogspot.mx/
http://zipolitazphotoz.blogspot.mx/

I've been created lots of videos here in Zipolite - I have many examples of my video skills. I have been focusing on the business in the Roca Blanca area, but I would like to do it for the whole beach. I think that would be really cool to have a collection of videos of all the businesses and artists and vendor in Zipolite. I'm happy promoting them as they have had it hard first with Hurricane Carlota and then just very little tourism.

On our first day back I made this video blogpost http://adventurezinmexico.blogspot.mx/2012/09/zipolite-needs-you-now-more-than-ever.html

That will change soon though. There's a big celebration- CARNAVAL ZIPOLITE planned for the end of the first week in November. There's going to be a parade and rides and belly dancing, and lots of musical groups, sand sculptures and Magical Family Event, so that should be very exciting. http://carnavalzipolite.com/carnavalzipolite/Inicio.html
